I started Whinfell IT to offer specialist, hands‑on support to organisations working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. My background is in Finance first and foremost — I’m a Qualified Chartered Accountant with over 15 years’ experience across Big Four audit, Finance Systems leadership and Financial Controller roles — and I’ve spent more than a decade working deeply with Microsoft AX and D365 Finance.

Over the years I’ve led the Finance workstream of global D365 implementations across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the US, working closely with Finance teams to design processes, configure systems and deliver solutions that support the way a business operates. I combine strong technical D365 expertise with an understanding of financial control, reporting and governance, which means I can bridge the gap between Finance, Technology and day‑to‑day operations in a way that feels practical, collaborative and grounded in real‑world experience.
